Michael Lane leads Hyve’s networking business unit, developing switching hardware solutions that support Hyve’s vertically integrated approach to data center infrastructure. He brings over three decades of experience across architecture, product management, and engineering leadership. Michael holds multiple patents in data center cabling infrastructure materials and management techniques. His background includes executive engineering leadership at Accton, senior networking roles at Amazon Retail, and networking chief of staff at an AI data center startup. He has also served in leadership roles across Open Compute Project (OCP) community efforts and open networking initiatives, including DENT and SONiC.
